CCC is appreciated in top level Chinese Hospitals

Dr. Shihong Wen is one of the key advisory board members of SYM Medical. He currently holds the position of deputy director for Neurosurgery and the deputy chief physician at The Third People's Hospital of Huizhou. Dr. Wen has more than 25 years of surgical experience, who is skilled at brain common disease, like meningioma, pituitary adenoma, glioma, as well as the emergent treatment for HICH and severe cranial injury. He is keen on endoscopic technology and has already done over 40 brain surgeries by adopting CCC to create operation corridor.The Third People's Hospital of Huizhou is one of the top hospitals in Guangdong province, which specialized in cardiology, neurology and urology. Dr. Wen's Suggestion
During the meeting, we have discussed the solution of micro vessel bleeding. Dr. Wen came up with the idea that, CCC together with bipolar forceps is a good choice to accurately stop the vessel bleeding. One of the advantages of CCC is that, the surgeon can see the bleeding area by endoscopy, and stop the bleeding at the first instance. Water can be filled to check if there is bleeding elsewhere. The whole operational process is visible, clear and accurate.
The other advantage of CCC is that, surgeons can directly see the hematoma. The blood clot can be removed thoroughly, and it is the most efficient way to clean it. He also suggested that CCC is a perfect solution for old people (60 yrs. and above) with bleeding amount between 30ml to 70ml in brain ventricles.
In young patient’s cases, it is recommended that the surgeon operates a traditional big opening on skull in order to decrease the intracerebral pressure, then apply key hole surgery. Although this method will leave some external trauma, the internal injury can be controlled and keep at minimum. To achieve the best outcome, surgeons need to be flexible and decide according to individual case, the optimal method they use.
