Workshops hands-on training of PBMV in Cairo, Egypt

SYM Medical’s partner in Egypt helped organizing and arranging two slots of local workshops in February,2021.

Egypt partner team with Dr. Ashraf Ahmed and Dr. Emmanuel Louka

The 1st training session was inducted at NHI- national heart institute (one of the biggest interventional cardiology centers in Egypt and the Middle East) on 13th Feb 2021. This workshop was presented by Dr. Ashraf Ahmed and Dr. Emmanuel Louka and attended by 20 doctors from the national heart institute. (Dr. Ashraf Ahmed is the vice president of NHI and both of the consultants are the most experienced cardiologists for PBMV technique) The session included a case demonstration, presentations, interactive discussions and hands-on training.

Doctors are actively participating the hands-on program.

The 2nd training session was inducted on 17th Feb 2021 at intercontinental hotel by same instructors during Cardio Egypt event 2021. The event was divided into 4 repeated sessions in a row with the same contents as the above and was attended by 60 cardiologists from Cairo, Alexandria, Assuit, Sohag, Kenna and Delta regions.

Dr. Ashraf is giving lecture to the doctors from different regions of Egypt.

These sessions help the local doctors to spread and exchange the experiences of PBMV techniques, tips & tricks in order to improve the awareness and knowledge for PBMV operations. Doctors showed high interest and actively participated during interactive programs. They find the workshops helpful for them to learn about PBMV procedure comprehensively.
